Pastor A. Troy Harrison

A. Troy Harrison is the Founder and Pastor of Faithful and True Christian Center. He was born in Washington, DC, served nine and a half years in the United States Marine Corps and was discharged with honors at the rank of sergeant.

Pastor Harrison received Jesus as his Lord and Savior and was water baptized as a youth. He was filled with Holy Spirit as a young adult. His call into the ministry came later when the Spirit of the Lord spoke to him and said, "You will be the pastor of a large multi-cultural congregation."

The foundation and confirmation of his calling is Exodus 4:10-12 (KJV), "Moses said unto the Lord, O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither heretofore, nor since thou hast spoken unto thy servant: but I am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue. And the Lord said unto him, Who hath made man's mouth? Or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? Have not I the Lord? Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt say."

In order for Pastor Harrison to effectively execute the call on his life, he was formally ordained, attended and received diplomas and certificates from several bible-teaching institutions. However, with many hours of biblical education under his belt, he still did not know how to live the victorious abundant life in Christ according to God's standards.

He captured the knowledge of this truth when he was exposed to the Word of Faith through the ministries of Dr. Michael A. Freeman, Dr. Leroy Thompson, Kenneth Copeland, and Dr. Kenneth Hagin. He continues to further his education by attending several conferences, conventions, workshops, classes and seminars throughout the year.

Pastor Harrison has a dynamic ministry. He delivers the Word of Faith by the acronym KISS (Keep It Simple Saint). He believes the keys to a successful ministry are to love the Lord, love the Word, love the Holy Spirit, love the people and teach the truth. He preaches the Gospel of Jesus Christ and teaches the principles of faith, in addition to love, healing, prosperity, redemption, righteousness and holiness for successful Christian living.

Pastor Troy and First Lady Monica work faithfully in ministry and are dedicated and committed to the call on their lives to share the Word of Faith to the world.
